 http://www.WalterEckel.de/BookPrin.jpg  BookPrint ist ein deutsches Programm für Windows 2000 zum papiersparenden Druck von Dokumenten im Buchformat, oder zum drucken von Poster. Zum Drucken im Buchformat werden pro Blatt beidseitig, nach Wahl, zwei, vier oder acht Seiten im Hoch- oder Quer-format gedruckt. Das Aussehen der verkleinerten Seiten entspricht den Originalseiten eines normalen Druckers. Geeignet für: - Programmbeschreibungen ("Liesmich" Dateien), - Hilfedateien, - Handbücher, - Vereinszeitungen, - Kirchenblätter, - elektronische Publikationen, - selbsterstellte Kochbücher, - Programmlisten, - Adresslisten, - Poster, - Wandzeitungen. Das Programm wird als Druckertreiber installiert. Wählen Sie BookPrint als Standarddrucker, dann wird das Programm gestartet, sobald Sie die Druckfunktion einer beliebigen Anwendung aufrufen. Im anderen Falle wählen Sie im Druckermenü der Anwendung (falls vorhanden) BookPrint aus der Liste der installierten Drucker und führen die Druckfunktion aus. Mehrere Druckaufträge können zu einem Heft zusammengeführt werden. Zum Beispiel können Sie ein Heft drucken, das verschieden Hilfethemen einer Hilfedatei enthält. Dabei wird jedes Hilfethema einzeln "gedruckt". Eine detailierte Beschreibung finden Sie in der Hilfedatei BookPrnt.HLP . BookPrint speichert die Druckinformationen auf der Festplatte im EMF-Format (Metafile). Dieses Datenformat wird von den meisten Anwendungen unterstütz, unter anderem auch von den MS-Office Anwendungen (z.B. WindowsWord) und "Acrobat Reader 4.0". "Acrobat Reader 3.1" gehört zu den Ausnahmen; da diese Anwendung das EMF-Format nicht kennt, wird sie von BookPrint nicht unterstützt.
 BookPrint is a German shareware programm for MS-Windows 2000/XP. This program prints booklets and posters as well. With booklets you save paper by printing up to 16 pages on both sides of a sheet. Posters are build by combining up to 16 sheets. A series of booklets are combined to build a book. BookPrint operates as a printer driver that may be used by any application. Several print jobs may be accumulated for printing of booklets. E.g. you may print a booklet that contains several topics of a help file. This is done by executing the print funktion of the help system for each topic.
In general BookPrint is suitable to print program manuals (readme.txt), help files, cook books, address books, program source listings, elektronic publications, posters, wallpapers.
BookPrint uses the EMF-file format for spooling the print jobs and requires the support of this format by the application, which is the case for most applications, e.g. Acobat Reader Version 4.0 is supported by BookPrint. Some applications, do not support the EMF-format and thus do not support BookPrint. A samples of those applications is the older Acrobat Reader version 3.1.OS: Windows2000,WinXP Licence: Shareware
