PIE ist zudem ein Datei Rename Utitlity welches Kamera-Informationen aus den Original-Bilddateien liest und diese entsprechend Aufnahmedatum / Zeit oder anderer Informationen umbenennt. Datum und Zeit der Bilder können nachträglich geändert oder verschoben werden, schnell und leicht per Stapelverarbeitung. Komplette Metadatensätze können gesichert und wiederhergestellt werden, sowie aus den Bildern entfernt werden. PIE hat einen sehr schnellen integrierten Bildbetrachter. Benutzen Sie das Mausrad zum Reinzoomen oder zum Hin- und Herschalten zwischen den Bildern, die Cursortasten zum Verschieben, Funktionstasten zum Ein- und Ausblenden von Informationen. Ein einziger Klick bzw. eine Taste startet die Diashow oder schaltet zwischen Browser und Bildbetrachter um. PIE kann JPG-Bilder ohne jeglichen Qualitätsverlust drehen und beschneiden.
